Have now sold the lovely blue-eyed marble boy, he has been shipped off to Norway to a lovely breeder over there, joining my friend Joolz's kitten which she sent over a few months ago. Was quite sad to see him go, worried about the travelling he had to do but he's arrived safe and sound and is happily settled in his new home and apparently gets on well with her dogs! Probably because he's been living with a cocker spaniel for the first 13 weeks of his life, so dogs are no worry to him.

Still have Couscous the gorgeous blue-eyed marble girl for sale, and I guess we should sell chocolate Swirl too, although my husband will be upset when she goes as she's so affectionate, she loves to come and sit with/on us, which he does like.

Meanwhile Mouse (the tiny one who was hand-fed) is thriving, charging about with the others, still the first on in the food dish (pretty much literally in the food dish) - she is small but cute as they come.

All the kittens

Lovely bundle of kittens here, see how much darker the chocolate marble is, really stunning. and such a sweetheart. Mouse is the small one next to the chocolate, but she's growing at quite a pace, very proud of her.

Bella, the lovely spotted girl (only spot the mother Genie has ever had!) - looking cool in her bed.

Boy kitten wondering how he can get the mouse on the end of that string...

First vaccination due soon - kittens 8 weeks old already!

The kittens are thriving! Even Mouse, the tiny one who had to be hand-fed from birth is doing amazingly well, she's the first to the food when it's put down and scampers around as best she can after the others. She doesn't have quite the power that the others do but she's certainly a tryer. The chocolate marble is the sweetest thing (as she would be, being a chocolate :-) ) and the snow 'twins' are lovely. The boy cat is reserved by a breeder right now, and the spotted one is going to stay with us.

So for sale - one chocolate marble girl, one blue-eyed snow girl, and the blue-eyed snow boy if the breeder doesn't confirm she wants him.

Ring 01865 375446 for more information! Will be ready to go to new homes from 23rd November (after 2nd set of jabs).

Growing up fast!

This is an old photo of the spotted and the snow, they are much bigger now, starting to eat real food and scamper around the room. They ambush you as soon as you go in there and use you as a climbing post! You have to wear kitten-proof clothes... will take some pics of them as they are now.

Of the litter of 6, one is very small so is not really for sale but possibly free to a good home? I think I'll keep the spotted one, my friend Joolz is going to have one of the blue eyed marbles, someone locally is showing interest in another and the 1 boy might go to a breeder to enjoy life as a stud cat, so there might only be 2 available for sale! ring me on 07780 602514 if you're interested.

These are two kittens from the previous litter, the new litter are paler than these but one is as marbled as these two. So gorgeous!

Kittens born! 23rd Aug

Happy birthday kittens! 6 born to Genie on 23rd Aug. I'm in Boston and had to ring the husband throughout the day for updates. Seems to be 5 girls and a boy, one of them very small though, Husband is having to feed her powdered milk as she's not as strong as the others and keeps getting booted out of the milk bar. Bless. Really praying she does ok. Can't wait to get home Thursday morning to see them.

Once I've worked out where all the photos are that were on the computer I'll upload them... they must have been lost in the reconfigure of the 'puter. ~sigh. Shall plug the camera in and upload them all again.

Cat still pregnant.

Pictures coming soon!

On Tenterhooks...

Am on tenterhooks waiting for Genie - my lovely snow marble Bengal - to give birth, mainly because am off to Boston tomorrow for a conference and would hate to miss The Main Event! She is due today... but showing no signs of having the kittens.

This is her third time round so we're both old hat at it, it's just when she goes into labour she does like me to be around. She sticks to me like glue, clearly needing reassurance. Turns out I am the 'cat's mother'!!

Am going to walk the dog, need to keep calm and carry on... and pack and iron (other way round?) for Boston trip.

Naturally she'll go into labour tomorrow morning as I'm heading out the door to Heathrow...
